Position Overview:
Responsible for the marketing of company equipment and services to prescriber influences, managed care companies, insurance companies and/or patients/clients.
Reports To:
Vice President Respiratory Services
Responsibilities & Duties:
Developing key contacts with managed care companies, key accounts including hospitals, extended care facilities, physician offices and home care agencies to develop referral relationships for key products including respiratory therapy set-ups, enteral feeding set-ups,
wheelchairs, hospital beds and other home medical equipment.
Acts as a liaison between the company and the patient/client, family, caregiver, physician, and other healthcare agencies and staff to promote the complete services and programs of Medical Service Companies.
Conducts, participates and attends educational meetings and seminars for healthcare workers, patients/clients, families, caregivers, physicians, and interested community members on areas of need to market and promote the services and programs of Medical Service Companies.
Assists with the development of sales and marketing materials to disseminate to various referral sources and the community at large.
Keeps cognizant of third party reimbursement, criteria services, equipment, services and programs offered and makes recommendations on new programs to pursue.

Qualifications:
Education:
College Graduate-Marketing degree preferred
Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Physical
Requirements:
• Minimum of two years of progressively responsible HME sales experience.
• Thorough knowledge and skill related to respiratory care and clinical sales.
• Customer oriented with good oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills (a team player).
• Ability to develop, organize and coordinate marketing campaigns.
• Normal office/clerical motor skills in addition to extensive automobile and telephone usage.
