Position Overview:
Responsible for performing all tasks relative to in-house communications with the patient/client
and referral sources.
Reports To:
Customer Service Manager
Responsibilities & Duties:
Answer incoming phone calls and intakes all pertinent customer order information including verification of Medicare
and Medicaid coverage.
Maintains open communication with patients/clients and referral sources, responding to patient/client questions and problems.
Enters intake information into the computer to generate work order and prepares work orders for the following day’s route deliveries.
Confirms work orders once delivery is verified.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalence.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Physical
Requirements:
• Strong experience in HME customer service preferred.
• Understand intake implications of industry change.
• Strong communication, telephone, and customer service skills.
• Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; TEAM player.
• Standard office/clerical motor skills in addition to extensive computer and telephone usage.
