Merle Marx started Medical Service Company in 1950, with his wife Jean, and the business grew to a full-time
physician supply operation in downtown Cleveland. Two moves and several expansions later, the family owned company is now led by their son
Joel D. Marx. Medical Service Company provides respiratory and home medical equipment and supplies as well as pharmaceuticals to an expanding
customer base throughout Northern Ohio.
Our customers include patients referred from hospitals, long-term care facilities, physician offices, home
health care agencies, hospice programs and many other fine health care institutions. Since the beginning Medical Service Company has been the
"peace of mind provider" for patients, caregivers and physicians by supplying top quality respiratory and home medical equipment, caring service,
and advice from our professional staff. We're passionate about making life better, and it shows.
